Organic old-fashioned soft delicious frosted sugar cookies
This was my grandma’s recipe, handed down to me. It’s with great honor I’m sharing it publicly! I saved this recipe away and now I’m ready to put it out there. These cookies are amazing. They are so soft and fluffy, almost like cake yet they’re not. This cookie has always amazed me because I haven’t personally found anyone else who makes them. An old-fashioned sugar cookie is what I’ve always referred to them as because it’s so hard to describe what exactly they are. Just try them! I’ve never known anyone to not like them, even the people who were hessitant and aren’t ‘dessert’ eaters!! Using organic ingredients is always what I prefer.
- mix butter, sugar and eggs
- separate bowl combine dry ingredients
- now combine dry to wet
- chill for an hour or 2 (there’s been times I haven’t done this and it’s fine, but it does make it easier to work with if it’s been chilled)
- cut out cookies
- bake 8 mins at 350 degrees
- now frost! You will not want to eat these unfrosted!
